Prof. BG Muhn publishes new book; “North Korean Art: The Enigmatic World of Chosonhwa.”

Professor BG Muhn has published North Korean Art: The Enigmatic World of Chosonhwa, the culmination of an eight-year study of the artwork and underlying culture of art in Pyongyang. A distinguished painter in his own right, Professor Muhn has become a leading expert in this field by visiting North Korea nine times to conduct on-site research in its art communities. He recently presented some of his findings to audiences at Harvard University and the University of Michigan. His next talk, including a book signing, will be at the American University Museum at the Katzen Arts Center on Saturday, February 15, 2020, at 3:00 pm.
