GU Art Major Wins Printmaking Award

Art Major Aleta Looker (C’2018) won the Washington Print Club 2018 Annual Student Award on May 19. She was accompanied at the May 19 awards ceremony by Professor Scip Barnhart, her mentor in printmaking at Georgetown.  Aleta is pictured here receiving the award from Mr. Chris With, President of the Washington Print Club, which was established in 1964 to bring collectors and artists together and provide opportunities for learning about the field through exhibitions, demonstrations, and lectures. Aleta is the first undergraduate winner of the WPC Student Award.
