Prof Sharon Moody at Bernarducci Meisel Gallery

Faculty member Sharon Moody’s work is currently featured in a solo show, “Trompe l’oeil Paintings of Classic Comic Books,” at Bernarducci Meisel Gallery, 37 W 57th Street, in New York City. Sixteen oil paintings on panel depict silver age comics in mid-read, painted meticulously at life size. The exhibition continues through April 26.
 
Her work will also be included this May in “Everybody Needs a Superhero” at Scott Richards Contemporary Art, 251 Post St. in San Francisco. The exhibition also includes work by Martin DiGirolamo, Chris Dorosz, Cheryl Kelley, Peter and Madeline Powell, Mel Ramos, Suzy Smith and others.
