An exhibition of Professor Peter Charles’ work at Walter Wickiser Gallery in New York City opens on Saturday, November 2. As the gallery notes, “Charles’ idiosyncratic aesthetic and graphic sensibility dominates this selection of work in a solo exhibition from recent past to the present.” The exhibition’s common thread is its “synergism between two and three dimensions.” Elaborating on this relationship, Prof. Charles adds, “I never considered myself only a sculptor. I look for ways to combine sculpture and painting. Everything is integrated, always intermixed.” The opening reception is Saturday, November 2 from 6-8pm. The exhibition runs through November 26.
