ANGELICA Image Database
The ANGELICA Image Database is an online database of slides held in the Georgetown University Slide and Image Library. Users can search by subject, period, country, artist, site, museum, sitter, literary references, and other parameters. The collection includes slides from the Italian Renaissance and Northern Renaissance art and architecture, Dutch Baroque art, eighteenth century art and architecture, nineteenth-century art, American art and architecture, Russian art, and Islamic art and architecture. You must login with your Georgetown University NetID to view the database.
The Georgetown University Slide and Image Library, housed in Walsh 301, is the basis for the ANGELICA Image Database. Access to the physical slide library has been limited due to the online availability of the majority of images.
