The Art Galleries of the Department of Art and Art history, located in the Walsh building and around the Georgetown campus, provide a teaching gallery environment to students of the arts, working artists, and the general public. Stop by and visit us on your next trip through Walsh!
The Spagnuolo Art Gallery, formerly known as Gallery 101, is the main space for exhibitions sponsored by the Department of Art & Art History. Special exhibitions by visiting artists rotate on a seasonal basis, with an annual exhibit by the department’s graduating Studio Art majors in late April.
The department also displays student artwork from program courses in three satellite galleries around the Georgetown campus. The work rotates on a seasonal basis. See our Visit page for locations.
