BG Muhn: Exploring Contemporary North Korean Art
Prof. BG Muhn will present his research on North Korean painting in a lecture titled "Exploring Contemporary North Korean Art With a Focus on Chosonhwa" at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design on February 13. Chosonhwa ("Korean painting") is a style of traditional ink painting that was proclaimed by Kim Il Sung (1912-1994) as most representative of Korean styles and emotions.
