GOLDRUSHed: Paintings by Thomas Xenakis
Prof. Xenakis will be exhibiting his paintings in a solo exhibition titled "GOLDRUSHed: Paintings by Thomas Xenakis" in the Atrium Gallery of the McLean Project for the Arts (1234 Ingleside Avenue, McLean, VA 22101) from January 17 - March 2, 2013. His abstract paintings combine oil paint and gold leaf in a manner reminiscent of Byzantine icons. The opening reception and curator's talk will be held on January 17, 7-9pm.
